CVSA's International Roadcheck inspection blitz in May of more than 56,000 vehicles yielded more than 10,000 vehicles and 3,000 drivers being placed out of service. This annual Roadcheck is performed throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

This year's Roadcheck focus was on tires (vehicle) and false logs (driver).

The top violations for this Roadcheck for vehicle were related to brake systems, tires, defective brakes, lights, and cargo securement. Top violations for drivers were for HOS, not having a CDL or Med Card when required, false logs, and having a suspended DL or CDL.
