From: The President of NECS®
To: Our Valued NECS® Customers
We are committed to our Customers, Employees and Communities during the current COVID–19 health crisis.
These are unprecedented times and we are all learning to manage through the rapidly changing global situation together. Please know the health and safety of our employees & our clients is our top concern. NECS® is complying with all CDC recommendations as well as our own State and Local recommended guidelines to ensure both employee and customer health and safety.
As we continue to adapt our operations in response to COVID-19, we want to share an update on our ongoing actions that will ensure the continued operations of NECS®'s essential services. While the Governor of Indiana (NECS®'s home state) has issued an order to stay at home for all residents our operation will continue to be open in support of the essential business related to the transportation industry.
In anticipation of the stay at home order we have been working to identify positions and work that is not essential to the corporate office and can be performed from a remote location. These individuals and roles have been successfully moved offsite and we now have them working from home locations. These actions reduce the number of individuals in our corporate office which lowers the potential exposure and improves the health and wellness of our staff. It also ensures the ongoing support of our services in the event of further closures. In addition, our field-based team of consultants and account managers remain committed and available to help support our clients as we navigate through these uncharted waters.
We will continue to provide you with updates in the days and weeks to come. In times like these, we remain focused on everyone’s well-being and the needs of our clients. Rest assured NECS® is committed to our client services and will continue delivering the customer service you have come to appreciate.
